So, inspired by my friend Susan, I have decided to give this blogging thing a try. This may be the first and last post I ever make...
It's 9:44 p.m. on a Monday night and my sweet little girls that always go to bed on time are still awake and reeking havoc.
Eryn has found her independence and discovered that she can climb out of her bed without assistance. So I spent most of the night retrieving and re-tucking her in. About the 7th time I went to fetch her, I couldn't find her and eventually found her hiding in the closet. She had gone in the closet and completely closed the doors and was sitting happily in the dark closet playing with her teddy bear. About the 12th time I went to fetch her she had made it quietly to the bathroom and was pulling the wrappers off the pantyliners. It was difficult to get upset though because she had thrown all the wrappers in the trash and was neatly placing the pantyliners in little stacks.
So my project of the month is my vegetable garden. That and reinvigorating the work ethic of the teenage male in the process.
Grahm really got along well with the tiller, whom he nicknamed Cherry. For awhile anyway. Cherry eventually died on us leaving us much to be hoed.
I'll keep you updated on the progress. If there is any.

Such fun! I think it's a beautiful blog although I would expect nothing less. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteWhen my girls were little Kelly taught Wendy to crawl out of her crib each night so she would sleep with her. The hiding in the closet thing is a riot but I imagine not so much fun at the time.
ReplyDeleteI don't know where my original post went, but we are getting payback for 2 years of the best little girl ever.
ReplyDeleteI like it, I like it a lot.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you started a blog!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing how it unfolds.
Hope all is well with you.
