Bathtime is Fun.

Bathtime is fun.  I myself am addicted to baths.  There's nothing better than sitting in a hot tub after a long day.  Especially in the winter, even though it dries out your skin.  I think it's genetic.  Most of the women in my family have bath addictions.

This is a little plaque that I have in my bathroom and one of my life mottos.  Often, when I'm soaking in the bathtub I thank God for baths.  And I feel a little spoiled that I didn't have to haul water up from the well and boil it on the stove, or that I don't have to bath in the Nile, or many of the other bathing traditions of the past.  I just had to turn on the water and have a seat.  But mostly when I take baths, I just feel gratitude and Steam.

But another fun kind of bathtime is baby bathtime.

And I'm not sure why.  Maybe it's because I enjoy baths so much it makes me happy that other people do too.  Or maybe it's just fun to see the joy that is derived from splashing and bubbles and rubber ducks.  (Note Eryn's joy filled face).

Or maybe it's because Johnson & Johnson makes for some pretty amazing hairstyles.

Or maybe it's because you get to wrap them up in cute little towel animals when they're all done.

Whatever the reason.  Bathtime IS fun.
